The Better Way To Build

Rapid

Pre-manufactured off-site, our conservatory conversion requires no new base work. It can be rapidly assembled and watertight in two days and is less messy as no cement is used.

Lightweight

The lightweight nature means your new conservatory conversion will be lighter than your existing Warminster or Wiltshire conservatory. This will allow you to build onto your existing base helping to keep costs low and build times short.

Energy Efficient

Five times more energy efficient than the average UK home, your new conservatory conversion will be warmer than the rest of your Warminster or Wiltshire house. Your conservatory conversion would cost up to £1,000 a year less to heat than your current conservatory.

Added Value

Unlike your old conservatory, a conservatory conversion will add to the saleable footprint of your home increasing its value. As the walls are much slimmer than brick walls, you’ll also gain additional saleable floor space.

Glass Roof

The go-to conservatory conversion roof for Warminster and Wiltshire homeowners, the glass roof is ensured to be high quality and reliable.

  1. Triple-layer storm shield at the radius end.
  2. Unique engineering to your postcode.
  3. Customisable pitch from between 2.5° to 44°.
  4. Four impressive cornices to customise from.

Ultraroof

The Ultraroof is not only the warmest and quickest roof system for our conservatory conversions, but it is also the lightest.

  1. Lightest tiled roof available in the market.
  2. Large bi folding doors without extra support won’t need a tie bar.
  3. Quicker installation than other solid conservatory roofs.
  4. Low U-values of 0.15 W/m2K, regardless of glazing pane types.

Livinroof

The most configurable conservatory conversion roof, our roof consists of solid roof panels and shaped glazing to be the perfect roof for your Warminster or Wiltshire conservatory.

  1. Meets Warringtonfire fire testing standards.
  2. Customisable pitch from between 5° to 44°.
  3. Replace older roofs with the lightest solid roof available.
  4. Precision engineered to your Warminster or Wiltshire postcode for extra strength.

Flat Roof

An integrated solution with lanterns or flat skylights, our flat roofs are the most robust option for our conservatory conversions.

  1. Fast and easy installation.
  2. Flexible, bespoke designs in any RAL colour.
  3. Building Regulation compliance and U-values as low as 0.12 W/m2K.

Energy Efficient

Our decorative super-insulated columns provide high levels of comfort and have a U-value of only 0.15 W/m²K. Our slimline ridges are 30% slimmer than traditional ridges and come with high-performance thermal breaks to prevent cold spots and condensation.

Internal Pelmet

The roofs for our orangeries consist of a vaulted ceiling and have an internal pelmet around the perimeter. This provides a space for you to install lights or speakers in a living space that is usually difficult to light.

Tested

Exova Warringtonfire tests our conservatory roofs to ensure compliance with fire safety. Our conservatory roofs also fully comply with the latest Building Regulations and have been pre-approved by Assent and JHAI.

Structural Integrity

Our conservatory roofs are BBA-approved and come with a 25-year life expectancy certificate. They have been wind-tested at speeds of up to 130mph and fire-tested by Warringtonfire. Our roofs are also capable of withstanding up to 4m of unsupported bifold or sliding doors.

More Floor Space

Because our conservatory conversions are so lightweight, they can be built onto your existing conservatory base. Additionally, because the walls of our conservatory conversions are so slim, you will gain 10% to 15% more floor space.

Revolutionary Building Technology

Our conservatory conversions feature millimetre precision engineering and a rapid clip-fit installation so that they can be built five times faster than normal ones. This allows your old Warminster or Wiltshire conservatory to be converted in less than a week.

Design Flexibility

Previously, you had to replace the roof and potentially the windows and doors of your old Warminster or Wiltshire conservatory to convert it. Now, a whole new extension can be rebuilt in the same time it takes to replace the roof.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much are orangeries?

It is difficult to provide a price for your orangery as various factors contribute to the overall costs, such as the size and any customisation options. The best way to get a price is to call us at 01985 215566.

What is an orangery?

An orangery is a room that features expensive brickwork. Often, it will showcase a dwarf wall and pillars to create a cosy traditional feel. The roof is fitted with glass pods or a lantern roof for abundant natural light. The remaining walls and central ceiling area are constructed with glass.

Some time back, orangeries were used in northern Europe to cultivate lemon, orange, and lime trees to overcome local climate limitations. These days, orangeries are used as a popular alternative to conservatories, creating a light, bright, and energy-efficient space suitable for year-round use.

Is an orangery warmer than a conservatory?

Generally speaking, because an orangery is solid in its construction, it retains more heat than a conservatory. However, the windows, doors, glazing, and materials used will all contribute to the thermal efficiency.

Every product we manufacture is built with thermal efficiency in mind. So you can choose us with total peace of mind, knowing comfort and energy savings will come as standard.

What is the difference between an orangery and a conservatory?

Conservatories feature more glass, which often runs from floor to ceiling. Light is the key objective in conservatories, which results in them feeling bright and spacious. Orangeries, on the other hand, feel more enclosed due to the extensive masonry used in their construction. This means that an orangery won’t heat up as much during warmer weather, making it ideal for year-round living and entertaining.

Orangeries feel and behave like house extensions, whereas conservatories serve as a seamless transition between your interior and exterior areas. That said, you can modernise an orangery by adding more glass and make a conservatory cosier by adding a tiled roof.

Is an orangery more affordable than an extension?

Orangeries sit somewhere in the middle in terms of their price point. They generally cost more than a conservatory but less than an extension.

British Board of Agrément (BBA)

The Ultrapanel technology used in our conservatory conversions has been independently and thoroughly tested, assessed, and approved by the BBA for use in UK housing products. Ultrapanel passed the BBA’s evaluation in thermal and structural performance, condensation, fire, and durability.

Fire Safety

Applus confirmed that the fully assembled walls of our conservatory conversions comply with the Building Regulations’ fire safety standards. Independent fire tests also show that the fully assembled structure of our tiled and solid roofs comply with all the Building Regulations’ fire safety requirements.

NHBC Accepts

The Ultrapanel technology used in our conservatory conversions is used on new houses throughout Warminster and Wiltshire. This has been recognised by NHBC, which provides guarantees on new homes.

Strength

The Steel Construction Institute (SCI) conducted two strength tests on the walls of our conservatory conversions and compared them to traditional brick and block walls. It was found that the walls of our conservatory conversion have the same vertical loading strength as brick walls and are 70% stiffer than brick walls.

Assent

Assent is a Building Control Approved Inspector who works to industry codes of conduct and building control performance standards. The walls and roofs of our conservatory conversions fully comply with Building Regulations and have been pre-approved by Assent. This provides you with a quicker route to Building Regulation compliance.

JHAI

JHAI is a government-licensed Approved Inspector that provides Building Control for all types of building projects. The walls and roofs of our conservatory conversions fully comply with Building Regulations and have also been pre-approved by JHAI for quicker compliance with Building Regulations.
